Gaber Yebego Adragot Dirigit works locally in Ezha District, Gurage Zone, Ethiopia. We welcome professional, financial, and material partnership from friends and institutions worldwide. Our sister organisation, Gaber Support Group in North America Inc. (GSG-NA), helps advance this mission by providing support and connecting global partners.
Gaber Yebego Adragot Dirigit is a nonprofit organisation established in Ethiopia to alleviate deep-rooted problems in Ezha District, Gurage Zone.
Gaber’s mission is to address the multifaceted socio-economic problems prevailing in Ezha District of Gurage Zone. These include high unemployment, extensive youth migration, food insecurity, lack of access to clean water and energy, poor quality of education, youth substance abuse, inadequate health care, gender inequality, environmental degradation, and others.
Gaber’s vision is to foster the socio-economic sustainability of the region by nurturing pertinent knowledge and skills development and by promoting responsible behaviour in society, particularly among the youth.
Through thoughtful planning and implementation of appropriate development-oriented interventions, Gaber envisions driving positive change that can boost the productive capacity of the people and contribute to improved quality of life for citizens in the region and beyond.
Gaber Support Group in North America Inc. (GSG-NA) strives to help Gaber Yebego Adragot Dirigit in Ethiopia achieve its mission by providing professional, financial, and other material assistance in collaboration with local and international partners.
